FAQs
Do you provide the van?
No, we work on client-supplied vehicles, allowing you to choose the make, model, and condition that best suits your needs. and budget. Although we don’t supply vehicles, we’re happy to help you choose a suitable model before purchasing, based on your layout and intended use.
How long does a full build take?
As a guide, small builds take around 1–2 weeks, medium builds 2–4 weeks, and larger builds 4–6 weeks. Build time depends on the size and complexity of the project. Factors such as custom cabinetry, electrical and solar upgrades, plumbing systems, structural modifications, and parts lead times can all affect the overall duration of a build.
What do I need to get started with a custom motorhome build?
To get started, you’ll need a client-supplied vehicle and a clear idea of how you want to use it. This includes things like travel style, off-grid requirements, sleeping arrangements, power and water needs, and any must-have features.
From there, we’ll guide you through design options, layout considerations, and system choices, and recommend a consultation to assess the vehicle and confirm scope before work begins.
Do we have to take our van somewhere else for specific aspects of the build?
No. We complete almost every aspect of our builds in-house, including cabinetry, certified electrical, certified gas, plumbing, solar, lighting, water systems, modification plates, and the complete fit-out. If your project requires a specialist service outside our scope, such as, fabrication, upholstery or vehicle-specific mechanical work, we'll coordinate the process with you to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our aim is to provide a seamless, hassle-free experience, so you don't have to juggle multiple trades or manage the build yourself.
